In Miami with Inside Instyle 2007
InStyle Magazine has asked Remanents to join their 5th annual event held in Miami on April 29th from 11:00am - 4:00pm on the beach. You can purchase tickets in advance for $15 here, with proceeds to benefit the Junior League of Miami.

IF YOUR LITTLE BLACK DRESS COULD TALK
Send in your fashion garment and story to us...
"Style Diaries" greeting cards are limited edition greeting cards that tell an original story. Fashion pieces donated by real women are illustrated by Remanents’ designer Monica Anderson and the illustration is partially die cut. The actual fabric from the donated piece is cut and inserted into the card for a stunning, multi-dimensional look. To make these cards even more unique, there is a diary entry on the back revealing where the piece had been and what it meant to its owner. Each card is numbered and Remanents donates 20% of the online sales to the Global Fund for Women.
Now you can have your own garment memorialized in a Style Diaries card and we will give you the first 10 cards for free to share with friends and family.
To submit for consideration, send garment, story, and Style Diaries submission form to: Remanents--Style Diaries Submission, PO Box 156, Haddonfield, NJ 08033. Stories must be 140 words or less and are subject to editorial revisions. Clothing submitted but not selected for inclusion will be donated to the Purple Heart. "Avant Card had goo-gobs of cards, individual and boxed. They had even more of the die-cut, pink and green whimsy with a graphic aesthetic, plus a variety of New Year’s cards (including revelers in a Cubist style). My favorite was of a slipper and underneath the expression "Yule Mule", by Remanents, $4.50 each."

I recently went to a bridal shower and someone had given the bride-to-be a CD Tin from Remanents. The product itself is top quality. The box is solid, stylish, and comes wrapped in a big brown floppy bow. Inside you’ll find card dividers and 6 individually sealed cards. The paper is thick and has a handmade feal. The cards are matched to envelopes that range from metallic silver to translucent white.
At first we decided we would write heartfelt messages to the women in our lives making them feel loved and appreciated. Then we got a better idea, take the box to happy hour and give them to random girls in the bar.
Our first stop identified a significant problem with our plan, there weren’t many females out on the town on Sunday night. Not to be put off, we did the next best thing, we accosted our favorite waitresses.
Our messages grew wittier as the night grew later and the bar tabs grew longer. We had just as much fun coming up with the messages as we did actually delivering the cards. We started with the Bouquet of Tulips card for our happy hour waitress with the message, “We love your tulips.” Later we gave the gellato girl the Golf Shoe card with the message, “You com-cleat me.” Finally the apogee of our evening, the I Love You Heart and Sole card granted the coffee shop girl the inscription, “These shoes are dumb but I bet you have some hot ones in your closet.”

Monica Anderson, Owner-Remanents: The Write Words
When my husband and I were first married, he left for a month while training for his job. I have always loved beautiful cards and I tried hard to find the perfect ones to send to him and struggled for the right words. I found poems could do that for me. Love poems add intensity and emotion that we find hard to convey in our own words. It's a wonderful way to help fill a blank card. Here is one of my favorites that I used by e.e. cummings:
